A joint venture between Tsuburaya Pro and a Chinese film company. It was originally planned for a full-length 52 episode run, but only a handful of episodes were actually filmed. The production was faced with numerous problems, including communication issues between Chinese and Japanese members of the staff, legal disputes and funding problems. There were numerous unsuccessful attempts to resume production before it was scrapped entirely in 2010. Among the Japanese production staff were some well-known names, including Akira Tsuburaya (Son of Eiji Tsuburaya), Takeshi Honda (Son of Ishiro Honda), and Masaki Harada (Heisei Ultra Series). In 2014, the first 3 episodes were released on DVD in Japan. Unfortunately, the remaining episodes have yet to be released in any form.
